A tragic fall in the distant past of this little Nancy Ann doll had broken off her head into two pieces, lopped
off half of one foot, and chipped her shoulders. To make matters worse, she was repaired badly and her mohair wig was in tatters.
So I bought an inexpensive box at a local craft store and glued her to the lid. Then, using bits of vintage felt and
ribbon for her dress and bonnet, and salvaging what what was left of her hair to her the appearance of a proper wig,
I was able to turn the poor little doll into a sweet and useful sewing helper.
