I wanted to try my hand at creating a picture with felt. This first attempt consistes of simple shapes applied with running stitch for a quilted effect. I've learned since I did this piece that craft felt is for crafts and wool felt is for quality creations.

One source of inspiration is Sally Mavor's book, Felt Wee Folk. Compared to her wonderful illustrations, my sad little attempt is almost embarrassing, but we all have to start somewhere!
